The 13th Pacific Basin Medical Association was held at Traders' Ridge Resort in the beautiful state of Yap, in the Federated States of Micronesia August 2008. The resort's preparation and hospitality has been awesome, owing to the particular detail attention of Ms. Kristina Remington, General Manager of the resort. Her orginizational ability has been phenominal. Thank you!

The hotel is absolutely beautiful and immaculately maintained. We were very impressed with the care of our rooms by your cleaning staff and the food was excellent too. The pool was beautifully maintained as well.
All the staff were friendly and helpful so it is a little unfair to mention just one. That said, we would like to take this opportunity to make special mention of your cultural guide Tamag who was always polite, efficient and knowledgeable and it was a delight to spend time with him. Once on the ‘Forbidden Island' when our son tripped and injured himself on some coral steps Tamag came to the rescue and obtained traditional medicine which provided immediate relief! Tamag proved himself to be reliable and resourceful at all times and we wish him well in his career.

I enjoyed seeing Yap and learning about the history, culture and
traditions . Like probably most people in the U.S., before this
trip I knew virtually nothing about Yap. I had the feeling that all those
connected with the Traders' Ridge Resort were trying very hard to provide
the best service possible and were very positive about Yap.
